Best Places to Buy a Mulled Wine This Christmas

Posted:November 1, 2019 at 10:33 am

Let’s face it, the weather is now freezing and a standard glass of red wine is not going to warm us on a cold winter’s eve, which is why we are very excited that mulled wine season has arrived. We’ve tried and tested some of the best places to hug a mulled wine in London and thrown in some impressive vantage points for good measure. It’s now time to mull over our picks below…

Pergola Olympia

Visit the mesmerising botanical bolthole located on the top of Olympia London. Enjoy a beautiful winter sanctuary, the perfect escape from the winter chill. Sip on a hot mulled wine as you take in the captivating views amongst the glistening winter lights. Whether you want to visit during the day or night, they’ve got you covered here with their 3 restaurants, 9 giant day beds, 2 bars and lots more festive fun.

The Chelsea Courtyard

If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, this is the perfect spot. Enjoy a luxurious experience surrounded by festive foliage in a beautiful botanical courtyard. Wrap up and enjoy an evening with mulled wine, amazing cocktails and exquisite food. A real treat to kick off the most wonderful time of the year.

Jimmy’s Lodge

Have you ever enjoyed a mulled wine in a snow-globe along the Thames? Well, now is the time to embrace not only the perfect mulled wine on offer here but the hot cocktails, fondue, raclette burgers alongside a whole host of exciting festive events. There’s also an incredible Northern Lights installation on display here so no need to travel to Iceland just yet! The perfect location for a magical evening.

The Enchanted Woods at Madison

Cradle a warm mulled wine and enjoy the views of St Paul’s Cathedral from your own Little Lodge. Your Little Lodge will be decked out with hot water bottles, cosy blankets and comfy cushions. I mean, this is the mulled wine experience of dreams.

Churchill Arms

Perhaps you’re looking to keep things a little more traditional with a festive feeling pub where you can huddle by a blazing open fire and enjoy a mulled wine. This Kensington watering hole is worth the visit just for their exterior alone. Draped in an array of flowers, lights and the odd Christmas tree, this truly is a sight to behold, not to mention the Churchill memorabilia inside.
