Celebrate Thanksgiving in London

Posted:November 1, 2019 at 10:39 am

Whether you’re basting your own turkey or dining in an all American diner, you’ll not be short of ways to celebrate Thanksgiving in London. Here’s a few ideas to get you started. Enjoy!

Dirty Bones, Kensington

You won’t have to venture too far to get the party started here. This year, Dirty Bones have created an exclusive, limited edition, Thanksgiving Turkey Waffle Stack.  A delicious sweet potato waffle bun filled with all the crispy buttermilk fried turkey trimmings served with a shot of homemade gravy.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a pinball machine, a unique quirky retro interior and delicious cocktails inspired by the restaurant and bar scene of NYC. Their menu is a little naughty but this is one dining experience, you’ll be very thankful for!

Biscuiteers

If you’re planning on cooking up a storm in the kitchen, why not impress your guests with some personalised Thanksgiving biscuits. Biscuiteers have created the most exquisite and tasty Thanksgiving tin.

You can impress your guests by pretending you made them yourself! Shhhh! Your secret is safe with us!!

The NY-Tea

The American inspired afternoon tea at Balthazar, Covent Garden is giving us all the festive feels. New York City has been brought to London and we couldn’t be more thankful.

The all-American menu will leave you feeling grateful and their extensive American whiskey collection will seal the deal. This sounds like our cup of tea!

American Food Store

The American Food Store in Ladbroke Grove will have your Thanksgiving essentials, under one roof, especially that all-important cranberry sauce.

With over 1000 items in store such as lucky charms, candy, sodas, cookies and a whole lot more, you’ll be living the Thanksgiving grocery dream. Pass us the pumpkin pie…

Kensington Palace

After enjoying a feast fit for a King/Queen you may want to walk it off a little. Walk around the grounds of Kensington Gardens and enjoy all it has to offer.

Pop into the Serpentine Galleries and enjoy some of their contemporary art or maybe enjoy a visit to Kensington Palace and explore the life of Queen Victoria at the Victoria: Woman and Crown exhibition. A nice way to spend the day.
